Marissa Rehman, FNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Duo Wellness Rejuvenation in Washington, DC. She specializes in emergency and preventive medicine with a focus on medical weight loss and aesthetics for teens and adults of all ages to ensure health and beauty from the inside out. 

Marissa began her nursing career at the University of South Carolina Lancaster, where she earned her Associate of Science in nursing. She began working as a registered nurse at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina and advanced her career to become a clinical supervisor in the Emergency Department. She has assisted in creating trauma protocols, handoff between emergency and inpatient nurses, and maximizing hospital throughput. She graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of South Carolina in Spartanburg during that time.

After graduating, Marissa worked as a traveling nurse for several years in emergency departments and intensive care units nationally and, during that time, returned to school for her Master of Science in nursing and graduated magna cum laude from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Marissa has extensive experience in the medical field and has worked at community hospitals to level 1 trauma centers. She has worked at New York Presbyterian Columbia in New York, New York, Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, and Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York. She also worked during the Covid Crisis in New York City and formally worked at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, before founding Duo Wellness Rejuvenation with her partner, Annie Chan, FNP-BC.

Marissa is certified in medical weight loss management and aesthetic medicine by the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine. At Duo Wellness Rejuvenation, she provides advanced, personalized patient care and understands each patient's unique needs and health factors that could interfere with obtaining optimal wellness. She focuses on medical weight loss through DNA analysis, laboratory testing, and hormonal therapy. She also specializes in aesthetic services, including botox, filler, laser treatments, micro-needling, hair restoration, and the use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP).

Along with her work in the clinic, Marissa is passionate about medicine and exemplifies this through volunteering. She has dedicated time and effort to many causes, including Safe Passage for domestic violence and sexual assault victims, Habitat for Humanity, and serving as the nurse practitioner team leader on a mission trip to Ukraine, providing medical care to war refugees.
